The BMA agrees in principle to the use of systems in line with IACS Recommendation 172 when accepted by Class.
Being cautious of ongoing work at the IMO level to provide a more robust definition to power limitation requirements, and ShaPoLi options in particular, it should be recognised the BMA position may be adjusted further should a definitive summation become available from IMO.
