The BMA changed the terminology used for yachts in 2022, as follows:

Old terminology	New terminology
Commercial Yacht	Charter Yacht
Non-commercial Yacht	Private Yacht
	Private Yacht Restricted Charter
	Passenger Yacht

Certificates of Registry stating that the yacht is a "Non-commercial yacht" remain valid until any details need to be changed.
